Final Day of Clear Dollar Stamps Sneak Peeks

It's the final day for sneaks, so that means it will all be available tomorrow! I only have one set to show you, but there is still lots to see. The set I have to show you is called Gift Labels and is a set of 14 for only $7.99. I have to say that this is probably the best Christmas set that I now own, because I know it will get use EVERY year! I love to make my own gift tags, and this set is just perfect for that since it has so many little images. You can make elegant or whimsical tags, and you can make them in a hurry! This first set of tags was really pretty easy to make, but they did take a little more time.
Stamps: Gift Labels
Ink; Memento Tuxedo Black, Sage Shadow
Paper: vanilla, Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly
Accessories: corner punch, oval cutters, hole punch, copper cord
Copics: R29, Y38, G05, E57, E21, RV05, BG01

My next set of gift labels was made to show you a very fast and easy set of tags that can be made very inexpensively. I used some white address labels in a pack of 250 that I purchased for only $1.88. Since they are peel and stick, that makes it even easier to attach to your packages. I love these! I plan on making a set for my mother-in-law.
Stamps: Gift Labels
Ink: Handsome Hunter, Ballet Blue, Memento Tuxedo Black, Ruby Red, Chocolate Chip, Encore Gold
Paper: none
Accessories: sticky address labels, tin & ribbon
Markers: Ruby Red, Pumpkin Pie, Ballet Blue, Going Gray, More Mustard, Close to Cocoa, Creamy Caramel

There is more to see from the other incredibly talented DT: Angela, Katie, Tricia, Nancy, Sarah, Tori, Candy, Laurie, & Linda A.

I hope you've enjoyed all of the sneaks over the past 4 days. If you've missed any, please scroll down. There is so much being released. All of these wonderful stamp sets will be available TOMORROW at Clear Dollar Stamps! So get your list ready ;D

A little Stamping for FUN!

It's sneak peek time for Clear Dollar Stamps, but I just couldn't resist making a card for fun since I FINALLY have my computer back! I made this card for 2 challenges. The first challenge is the Color Throwdown Challenge #66. The colors we had to use are Elegant Eggplant, Bordering Blue, and Rich Razzleberry. I combined it with the sketch over at Get Sketchy!
Stamps: Christmas Scriptures (Clear Dollar Stamps)
Ink: Bordering Blue, Elegant Eggplant, Rich Razzleberry, Craft Elegant Eggplant
Paper: Whisper White, Bordering Blue, Elegant Eggplant, Rich Razzleberry
Accessories: Snowflakes 1, Labels 4, 1, & 8 Nestabilities, Snowflakes embossing folder, sponges, wire, Icicle Stickles, polyshrink & a heat tool, hole & circle punches

Since I don't have any Elegant Eggplant or even dark purple buttons, I decided to make my own with polyshrink and craft ink. That's a fun way to make buttons to match any color!

Be sure to check out the CDS Sneak Peeks that are going on!

Clear Dollar Stamps Sneak Peeks Day 3

It's Day 3 of Clear Dollar Stamps Sneak Peeks! While I only have one set to show you today, there is still lots to see from the DT. My sneaks today come from this adorable set called Meowy Christmas, that is a set of 9 for only $9.99. I am loving how completely cute these little kitties are, and they are just so fun to color!
Stamps: Meowy Christmas
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Bravo Burgundy, So Saffron, Certainly Celery
Paper: Certainly Celery, Bravo Burgundy, So Saffron, Prism White
Accessories: Prismacolor Pencils & gamsol, Herringbone embossing folder, circle cutter, sponge, Basic Grey Burgundy half pearls

Stamps: Meowy Christmas
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Ruby Red
Paper: Ruby Red, Prism white, Giggle Kids & Fancy Pants dp
Accessories: Prismacolor Pencils & gamsol, challenge ribbon

Yes, I know I colored both of my samples as Siamese. . .but I can't help it. My little guy is a Siamese named Nik. Although he can be trouble, I don't know what I would do without him. He's actually bigger than our dog, and gives that dog a run for her money. I thought you'd enjoy seeing a picture of my muse. . .trying to get the string hanging from my camera :D

Make sure you check out all of the talent and all of the sneaks: Angela, Trudy, Tori, Shawne, Candy, Laurie, Katie, Stacy, Wendy, Linda A., Sarah, Kim, & Nancy

Plus, be sure to come back tomorrow to see what else I've been working on this month. It's the last day of sneaks before all of these wonderful stamps will be available for purchase from Clear Dollar Stamps. Only a couple more days to wait!

Clear Dollar Stamps Sneak Peeks Day 1

Yay! It's Clear Dollar Stamps Sneak Peek time! I look so forward to this every month, because I just love to hear the reactions that you all have to the new sets that will be releasing in just a few short days! I only have a couple of sets to show you today, but that doesn't mean that there isn't more to see ;D

The first set I'll show you is called Patchpal Reindeer and is a set of 6 for only $7.99. I love the Patchpal line that Clear Dollar Stamps carries. . .they are just so fun to color! I decided to go really colorful with this sample, and I do love how it turned out.
Stamps: Patchpal Reindeer
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
PBoldaper: Whisper White, Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly
Accessories: Prismacolor Pencils & gamsol, button, Oval & Tags Trio Nestabilities, Sparkly Fluff White, red ribbon

My next sample actually came about in a funny way. . .okay, it wasn't funny at the time. I was using my Cuttlebug, like I often do when for some reason I busted it! I'm not sure to this day, how it happened but it did. My husband was leaving by the end of the week, and this was just the straw that broke the camel's back. I just could not stop crying. I text my husband, knowing he was in a meeting. To my surprise he called me right away to see if I was okay. I know, silly that I would cry so hard over a silly machine, but you crafters feel my pain. I collected myself and the pieces of my Cuttlebug, and decided it wasn't the end of the world. My husband ended up coming home early with a little surprise for me. . .a new Cuttlebug! Not only that, but he brought home a new embossing folder too (yes, the one used down below). Boy, do I love my man. . .he takes very special care of me. He told me he couldn't leave without making sure I had what I needed to craft. Yes, I know. . .he's a keeper ;D The end result was this card. . .

It was made with the set called Railroad Memories, that is a set of 10 for only $9.99. I like this card for what it symbolizes to me. . .an awesome husband. I'll probably just have to send it to him while he's in Iraq ;) Plus, it kind of makes me feel like watching the Polar Express!

Stamps: Railroad Memories
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Going Gray, Basic Gray, Not Quite Navy, Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa, Summer Sun
Paper: Not Quite Navy, Whisper White, Basic Gray, watercolor paper
Accessories: aquapainter, White Sparkly Fluff, silver cord, Snowflake embossing folder, Large Labels Nestabilities, Snowflake Charm

Head on over to these lovely ladies blogs to check out other sneaks: Kim, Angela, Katie, Sarah, Candy, Linda A., Laurie, Nancy, Tricia, Stacy, Trudy, Shawne, and Tori

Be sure to come back tomorrow, because I will have some more Sneak Peek goodness to share!

Some Super Sweet Blog Candy I received!

I received a box in the mail the other day from super sweet Grace (a.k.a Critter Cat), and I just had to share the contents of this amazing box. When I won her blog candy, I thought 'how cool!' She said I would receive a box with a few goodies and she would send me some images from the Busy Beauties Boutique (which has some awesome digi images). I was super excited! Well, this is what came in the box. . .
Can you say, 'Holy Toledo!'?! I was so overwhelmed by the goodies in this box, that I just couldn't believe it! Thanks, Grace, for the wonderful digi images (that I can't wait to use as soon as I get my stinkin' computer back), and the amazing box of goodies!

CDSWCC Featured Stamper

Good morning everyone! Since I hostessed the Clear Dollar Stamps Weekend Challenge this weekend, I also get to pick the featured stamper for it! It was a difficult choice, but I finally decided on Christi's card!
I just couldn't get over the idea of what a cool Christmas card this was. Pink and lime green are certainly not colors that come to mind when I think of Christmas, but I LOVE it! She's got such great details and the snow globe feel is so cool. Awesome job, Christi!

All of the ladies who participated deserve a few kudos, so head on over and give them some love!

Be sure to keep stopping in! I'll be posting all week, and towards the end of the week is Sneak Peeks for CDS! Yay!

Black Cats

My computer is still not back yet, so I am still bumming off of others to post when I can. I was told it could be up to the 29th until I get it back. I feel soooo out of touch, I just can't believe it. I am thankful regardless. At least I can post from time to time, and occasionally check on all of my friends out there in blog world.

Ok, on to business. I made this card using one of Clear Dollar Stamps newest releases called Patchpal Scarecrow. I just love the little pumpkin and kitty together, so I decided to do multiples using masking. I'm really enjoying my Prismacolor Pencils so much. They make things so fun to color, and it's nice to have other mediums.
Stamps: Patchpal Scarecrow
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Basic Grey dp, Whisper White
Accessories: corner rounder, Prismacolor Pencils & gamsol, black brads

Clear Dollar Stamps Weekend Color Challenge

No, my computer is not fixed yet, but I did manage to make a card for the Clear Dollar Stamps Weekend Color Challenge going on over at Papercraft Planet. Lisa is our hostess this weekend, and she chose pink with a neutral in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness. I love it!

Let's just say it took me well over an hour to try and get this picture somewhat edited, and I am still not happy with the results. I would rather have my own computer with my own software, but beggars can't be choosers. I'm just happy that I am getting to post something. Hopefully my computer will be back in my arms by the beginning of next week.
Stamps: Rock On (Clear Dollar Stamps)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Basic Gray, Melon Mambo
Paper: Basic Gray, Neenah Solar White, Razzleberry Lemonade dp
Accessories: Melon Mambo & Going Gray markers, dimensionals, sponges, Basic Gray ribbon, circle cutter

So, it isn't much, but it's something. I'm just happy that I was able to post something, and I thank you for stopping in! Head on over and give this challenge a try ;D

Pansies

First off, my computer is broken, so I am posting from my son's computer. This has really put me out of whack, and frankly I feel out of touch. I feel like I've been away for a while, and I've only been away for just a few days, lol. Two days ago we dropped my husband off for his 3rd combat tour to Iraq, so yesterday was a recoop day. The kids played, and I tried posting when I discovered that my computer's keyboard was broken. Sadly, I'll be without my backbone for at least a week (crying. . .ok, just sighing).

So let's try this again. . .today, I wanted to post this card made with a new release from Clear Dollar Stamps called Pansy-February Flower of the Month. This gorgeous set is a set of 6 for only $7.99. I just love coloring this set. . .it's so pretty.
Stamps: Pansy-Flower of the Month
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: Neenah Solar White, Basic Grey Lemonade dp
Accessories: buttons, oval cutter, Scallop edge punch, paper piercer, Copics, dimensionals, Certainly Celery ribbon

For no Particular Challenge

I didn't make this for any particular challenge. I just decided to make this for a neighbor. Journaling can sometimes be a real stress reliever for me (not quite as much as card making is ;)). I figured that this might me a nice little journal to jot some thoughts down in. Along with it I made some cupcakes for her and her kids. Chocolate is another good mood changer for me, so maybe it will be for her too.
I used one of the newly released sets from Clear Dollar Stamps called Winged Whispers. As soon as this baby came in the mail, I was itching to ink it up. I thought this was the perfect opportunity. As you can see the sentiment says, 'Faith is the bird that feels the light and sings when the dawn is still dark.' I just love this quote.
Stamps: Winged Whispers
Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Memento Tuxedo Black, Crushed Curry
Paper: Razzleberry Lemonade, watercolor, Rich Razzleberry
Accessories: sponge, Labels 9 & Tags Trio Nestabilities, button, aquapainter, Rich Razzleberry ribbon, journal & pen
I'm so glad you stopped by today. I hope the rest of your day is very blessed ;D

Some Sweet RAK from my BFF

I have the most thoughtful BFF. Her husband is deployed right now, and mine will be in the next week or so. Sooo, she sent me a really cool punch set from the Martha Stewart line. It is two separate punches, and this thing is amazing. It is designed to be used around not only the edges of the paper, but the corners as well. Check out Christi's blog to see what this set looks like. She's so incredibly thoughtful!
