Jingle All the Way!

Happy Black Friday, crafty friends!  I hope you're getting some great deals this morning!  Me?  I'm only shopping from the comfort of my pjs and my chair.  I'm still on crutches with no weight bearing for a bit longer, so I'm not even thinking about getting out amongst the chaos.  I do, however, have a card to show you today to hopefully get you in mood for some Holiday shopping!  I used a bunch of great products from Taylored Expressions. . .always a place I love to spend my money *grin*.

My card uses the Gingerbread Lane Matched Kit from TE along with the matching Gingerbread Lane sequins and the Jingle All the Way die.  I'll let you in on a little secret. . .I like to keep my packaging from my stamps and dies and use the clear cellophane to make my windows for my shaker cards.  It doesn't cost anything, and I always have an excess of packing *wink, wink*.

Thanks for stopping by!  Here are the links to the products I used in the TE store!  Happy shopping!!

O Holy Night

Hey Everyone!  I hope you're having fun prepping for Holiday events!  I'm having fun prepping by making more cards.  I won't get out as many as I usually do, because of being laid up.  However, I was super inspired by Kristina Werner's Holiday Card Series.  In particular, I fell in love with THIS card she made, and fashioned my card to look a bit like it.  I used a bunch of Taylored Expressions goodies to make mine.  The set is called Sing of the King, the die is called the Bethlehem Border, and the embossing folder is called Sheet Music.  I made the stars using Perfect Pearls and water,

Taylored Expressions: Small Packages

Happy Monday, crafty peeps!  I have a few fun little card/gift card holders to show you this morning.  I had a ton of fun crafting these little bad boys using a bunch of the new products from Taylored Expressions.  The cards are just big enough to hold a gift card with a small pocket inside each one.  I love to give gift cards because we live so far from all of our family, but it isn't always practical for me to send anything thicker than a letter.  That is why these work perfectly for me.  However, I did end up buying a bunch of the new tins and and products to go with making gift card tins from TE.  I could NOT resist ;)

These will be great to have on hand whenever I need a quick holder for a gift card.  I used the TE Pockets & Pages Medallion Showcase die, which is such a great die to use on all kinds of projects from scrapbooking to card making.  that Medallion Showcase die is perfect for all of the super affordable Little Bits dies that TE carries like the ones I used: Donut, Coffee Cup, & Milk Bottle.  I love the new stamp set, Small Packages, because I can see using it over and over.  I ended up using the Double the Fun Paper Pack along with the Double the Fun Boy sequins.  TEs Matched line of products are just amazing!

I'm glad you stopped in this morning, and I hope you have been inspired to get started on a little bit of your Holiday gift giving projects.  Here is the list of all of the great TE products I used and direct links to the store to get them :D

Autumn Wishes

Hey everyone!  Happy Friday!  I have finally gotten more of a chance to crawl downstairs and craft for fun, so I thought I would share a project I made last night.  I didn't make it for any particular challenge.  I simply made it to make it, and boy did it feel good!  I pulled out a set that hasn't seen light in a bit from Papertrey Ink called Friendship Jar and the coordinating set called Friendship Jar Fall Fillers along with the matching label die.  I played with my Copics a little more, and created a fairly simple card.

I've also tried playing with my photography a little bit.  I know my recent pictures have not been perfect, so I tried playing with lighting a bit as well as putting the camera on a stable surface and shooting with a timer.  I think it made a bit of difference, but I'll keep tweaking.  We've lived in 3 different places in the last few months, so my biggest challenge has been finding the perfect place in the current house to take good pictures.  Do any of you struggle with that?

Stamps:  PTI Friendship Jar & Friendship Jar Fall Fillers
Ink:  Memento London Fog, Memento Tuxedo Black, Craft White, Distress Worn Paper, Distress Mowed Lawn
Paper:  kraft, TE Sugar Cube, Echo Park Simple Life, TE Oreo
Accessories:  Copics, white embossing powder, PTI Label Die, foam tape, corner rounder, sponges

Thanks for stopping in today!

Light Burdens & Strong Coffee

Happy Monday, crafty friends!  It's super cold out there today, so it sounds like it's the perfect kind of day to spend crafting!  I'm still working on some crochet projects, but I'll post a pic of one thing I've made at the bottom of this post.  I'm showing you a project that I made using a November release from Taylored Expressions called Perfect Blend.  It's such a darling little set.

Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper:  EP We are Family, TE Matched: Pea Pod, Sugar Cube
Accessories:  TE Label Stacklets 3, Copics, ribbon, Silver Spica Pen

Here you go. . .a pic of one of the many things I've been busy crocheting!  Pardon how terrible I look along with all of the medical equipment around me ;)

Now head on over to the Taylored Expressions store to get your hands on these fun products!

Coffee Makes Us Awesome!

Happy Veterans Day to my American Veteran friends and their families, and happy Tuesday!  I have another card to show you today using the the newly released set called A Hug in a Mug by Taylored Expressions.  They have a whole bunch of new goodies in the store that you need to check out.  If you're planning on prepping your Holiday tables, then you are going to fall in LOVE with some of the new dies.

I made my card using some other newer goodies from TE.  They are adding to their Matched Line of papers each month, and I used Sugar Cube, Toffee, and Cookie Monster (such fun names).  I also used a newer die from last month's release called Label Stacklets 9.  Because I'm such a coffee lover, I know I'll be using this set a bunch!

I'm still laid up, and will be for the next 4 weeks.  I thought this surgery would be easier and quicker to recover from, but I've been told to just slow down.  Because of that, I do a lot of sitting and I've taken up crocheting. . .so fun!  I'll have to share some projects sometime down the line, but as of now the count is 6 blankets, 4 ponchos, 2 scarves, one ear warmer, and one cowl, with lots more in the works. . .and thats all in 4 weeks time!  Can you tell I don't like to sit idle, haha?!

Anyway, here is the link to the TE Store you'll use to get to the products I used for this project:
