Brutus Monroe Blog Hop -- Anything Goes

Hey there, and welcome to the Brutus Monroe Blog Hop, which is the theme of Anything Goes!  I just to ink of this new 6x6" stamp called Alley Cat.  I embossed it with Raven Ultra Fine embossing powder and colored it with my Arteza Real Brush Markers.

I used a couple of enamel heart stickers to highlight the cats and mounted the whole panel to a Lunch Bag card base.  I have a process video if you are interested in seeing how I made this card:

Brutus Monroe Blog Hop -- New Stamps

Hello there!  If you just stumbled upon my blog, then welcome to the Inspiration Team Blog Hop for Brutus Monroe!  This month the hop is all about the new stamps that were just released.  If you haven't had an opportunity to check out all of the amazing new goodness, head on over to the store to see it all. . .because you are sure to find something that you'll love.

For my card today, I'm using the new set called Special Day.  It features a beautiful dress and three lovely sentiments.  To start out I pulled out my Aqua Pigment Paper, the Raven Detail Ink, the Raven Ultra Fine embossing powder, and Aqua Pigments in the colors Pink, Orange, and Pearl.  Using my Waffle Flower Water Media Mat, I started to messy paint with the Aqua Pigments until I was happy with the results.  Then I splattered the leftover color all over my background.

Next I stamped that gorgeous dress right onto my background.  On a separate piece of Aqua Pigment Paper I stamped the dress once again, and then fussy cut it out using my Brutus Monroe Scissors.  I then adhered the dress over the top of the dress on my background using foam tape.

My sentiment was stamped using Brutus Monroe Embossing Ink, and then covered with the Raven Ultra Fine Embossing Powder, and heat set until the powder was smooth and melted.  Finally my panel was glued to the front of a white card base.

Be sure to hop along to check out what the rest of the Inspiration Team has been up to with these new stamps. . .you're sure to be inspired!
