I've been really been itching to do this Paper Blooms challenge, and knew I needed to do it before we headed out for CA this morning. Nothing like doing something last minute right?! Anyway, the challenge was to make a home decor piece and this is what I came up with. I kind of followed the idea out of a magazine that I had seen this weekend, but they only used 9 images and not 12. I also made it for a dear friend of mine from High School who just had her first baby back in July.
Stamps: Moose Friends, Patchpal Messages (Clear Dollar Stamps)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Summer Sun, Close to Cocoa, Green Galore, Pixie Pink, Baja Breeze
Paper: Sweet Berry K&C Company dp, Whisper White
Accessories: handmade blooms from Paper Blooms, Baja Breeze button, circle rhinestone brads, circle punch, aquapainter
Don't forget the Clear Dollar Stamps Blog Hop is still going on and you STILL have time to get your name entered for the Grand Prize. Plus, it's my Blogiversary and I've got goodies to give, and you STILL have time to get your name entered for that.
Be sure to come back this weekend, since I'll be the hostess for the Clear Dollar Stamps Weekend Color Challenge! I can't wait to see what you'll make with the colors I've chosen ;D
