Clear Dollar Stamps Design Team
Last week while I was feeding the troops those tacos that I had talked about so endearingly, I opened my email on my phone to a question from Laurie Wilson that made me have to sit down for fear that I would draw too much attention to myself. I didn't want some soldier to see my hyperventilating and feel the need to start an IV on me or something. I am so super excited to announce that I was asked to be a part of the Clear Dollar Stamps Design Team, and without hesitation I totally said yes!! I have been in love with these stamps and this company ever since I discovered them. I still feel like I need to pinch myself, because I am just so excited! The other newest Design Team member is Angela Thomas. Go check her out, her work is fantastic, as are all of the other Design Team members that you can find on my side bar. Thanks for sharing in my excitement!

An OCC Challenge
This week is my pastor's 50th birthday. We are supposed to come up with 50 of the same thing to bring him, and I'm feeling a bit stumped. I was going to go and get him 50 marbles, but I'm running out of time, so I may have to find something around the house. Maybe I'll punch out 50 stars or something like that. I'm sure he'd really appreciate that, lol! This week's OCC challenge was to use the colors More Mustard, Bashful Blue, Not Quite Navy, and a neutral of your choice.
Stamps: Creatures & Sentiments (DoodleFactory)
Ink: Basic Black, More Mustard, Not Quite Navy, Bashful Blue
Paper: Watercolor paper, Basic Black, Bashful Blue DSP, Not Quite Navy DSP
Accessories: aqua painter, ticket punch, Tiny Bubbles embossing folder, More Mustard marker, More Mustard ribbon
A Great Sketch Challenge with a Fantastic Prize!
Head on over to CardPatterns and try out their card sketch. I'm going to get started on this soon, because the prize is some of Leah's fantasitc blooms from her Paper Blooms Etsy Shop!
A Weekend Color Challenge
This weekend over at Papercraftplanet, Linda is hostessing this weekend's Clear Dollar Stamps Color Challenge, and it is fabulous! Linda gave us a monochromatic color challenge and you get to pick which color. I chose to use yellows, which is very out of my comfort zone. I guess that's why they call it a challenge. Maybe I picked it because it is raining cats and dogs outside and I need a little cheer. The background was made using the Melted Crayon Background technique. This technique is so fun, and it's the only time my iron ever sees the light of day, lol. On a side note; get a nice smelling candle going after doing this technique because burnt crayons are not a very inviting smell :)
Stamps: Farm Critters (Clear Dollar Stamps)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Appricot Appeal
Paper: Yoyo Yellow, Whisper White
Accessories: yellow flower ribbon, Rhinestone brads, Stampin' Dimensionals, paper piercer, ticket punch, Yoyo Yellow & Summer Sun markers, yellow crayons, iron, foil
Technique: Melted Crayon
My 7 year old daughter also wanted to participate in this weekend's color challenge and she chose to use the color blue. I am so proud of her, because she picked all of her own stuff, cut everything on her own, and came up with her own sketch. This is her card.
Stamps: Harriette Hippo, Critter Messages (CD Stamps)
Ink: Basic Black
Paper: Pacific Point Blue, Bashful Blue DSP, Whisper White, Baja Blue
Accessories: Ballet Blue Buttons, Bashful Blue marker, Pacific Point Blue ribbon

Out Like a Lamb Challenge
The challenge today over at Splitcoaststampers was a Limited Supply Challenge. It wasn't that you had to use a lamb, but I wanted to because I love this little lamb from Clear Dollar Stamps. The challenge was to only use the colors black and white. I made this card for my husband because he often refers to himself as 'the black sheep' at work. He uses the term endearingly and wears that title with pride. . . I love my man.
Stamps: Little Lamb, Thoughtful Notes (CD Stamps)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Stazon Black
Paper: Whisper White, Rockabilly DSP
Accessories: Scallop Edge Punch, Slit Punch, White Taffeta ribbon, wire, polyshrink, heat tool
Copics: W-1, W-3, W-5, BV-29
I had a lot of fun making this card, because I decided to use Polyshrink, or shrinky dinks as we used to call them when I was a kid. It brought back a lot of memories. I've also discovered that I need to get the Scallop Square Nestabilities, because I am not good at working that scallop edge punch into a square (as you can tell).

A Mojo Challenge
The few Copic markers that I have, I have been using like mad. I am so hoping to get a few more for my birthday, but we'll see. Here is my Mojo Monday challenge for this week.

A Pink Elephant
I haven't been able to hang out in my 'craft cave' for a few days now it seems. I guess I'm having some withdrawals ;) We've been a bit busy around here, because we've been trying to work with a new math curriculum. I think I've finally found one that won't cause us all to want to pull our hair out. I'm feeling like I can take a bit of a breather now that we've settled on it. That being said I made this card for the Pink Elephant Challenge #7. They have a fun little sketch going on over there. I stuck with fairly simple, and I am kind of really liking the colors I chose to use. I used this little chicken from the Farm Critters set from Clear Dollar Stamps and the sentiment is from Thoughtful Notes, yet another set from CD Stamps. Farm Critters has 17 stamps for such a small price and Thoughtful Notes has 26 stamps. . .WOW that is a lot of stamps! You really need to go check it out.
Stamps: Farm Critters, Thoughtful Notes (CD Stamps)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Baja Breeze
Paper: Sweet Slumber DSP, Neenah Solar White, Chocolate Chip DSP
Accessories: Stampin' Dimensionals, sponge, Close to Cocoa buttons, So Saffron and
Close to Cocoa markers

An OCC Challenge
I smell like tacos right now, and that is only because I decided to make a card before showering. You see, I cooked up over 20 pounds of taco meat to feed about 70 soldiers tomorrow. Some of the ladies from our FRG group thought it would be a good idea to feed the guys when they come out of the field, and I have to agree with them. One of my husband's soldiers is turning 30 tomorrow so I made him this card from my brand new stamps from the DoodleFactory. I followed the sketch from Our Creative Corner, and this is what I came up with.
Stamps: DoodleFactory Creatures
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Summer Sun, Taken with Teal, Neenah Solar White
Accessories: chipboard, Black Gingham ribbon, slit punch, oval cutters,
Spots & Circles embossing folder, Forest Branches embossing folder, corner punch,
Copics, Stampin' Dimensionals

A Weekend Color Challenge
It's been a bit busier day than I like, and here it is 9:15 p.m. and I'm still trying to get my kiddos to settle down and get sleep. We started the day by heading to the post to go to a Family Day at the range. It truly was a blast, and if I had actually remembered to bring my camera I would have some pictures to show you. I didn't even remember my phone, lol. After that we had a baseball game and I did not have enough sun screen on, so I am just a bit toasted, :(
That being the case, I made a very simple card today for the Clear Dollar Stamps Weekend Color Challenge over at Paper Craft Planet. Monique hostessed this weekend and she chose some great colors to play with. She chose the colors Bashful Blue, Real Red, Chocolate Chip, and White. This is what I came up with.
Stamps: Christian Sympathy (CD Stamps)
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Paper: Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: button, Chocolate Chip ribbon, Die-Cut Blooms

My Mojo Thursday
I know, it's supposed to be for Monday, but this seems to be how my week has gone so far. . .lol. I made this card for the Mojo Monday challenge, and this is actually my first attempt at a digital image. I plan to use this image for another challenge, but liked the image so much that I thought I would use it for the Mojo Monday challenge. I got this image from Jaspere's Little Corner for free!
Stamps: digital mouse image from S2G, Delight (Verve)
Ink: printer, Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: Whisper White, Neenah Solar White, Brocade Blue, Riding Hood Red,
Riding Hood Red DSP
Accessories: printer, Copics, Stampin' Dimensionals, Kiwi Kiss ribbon,
Tiny Bubbles embossing folder, corner punch

One card Two Challenges
I made this card for the Kwerner Color Challenge and the Truly Scrumptious Sketch Challenge. The colors I had to use were More Mustard, Really Rust, Kiwi Kiss, and Whisper White. I thought these colors together were wonderful and a bit different than what I'm used to grabbing for. I love challenges like that! Along with a sketch for the Truly Scrumptious blog, you had to use something shiny. My shiny things were my dew drops, the silver ribbon around the package, as well as putting Glossy Glaze to the package.
Stamps: Monkey Madness, Aloha, Monkey Surprise (CD Stamps)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Baja Breeze
Paper: Really Rust, More Mustard, Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White, Neenah Solar White
Accessories: Kiwi Kiss ribbon, Dew Drops, Stampin' Dimensionals, circle cutters, Oval Punch, sponge, Scallop Edge punch, Glossy Glaze, silver twine, Copics, Branches embossing folder

Pink Elephant Challenge
That's right, I'm going to try my hand at the Pink Elephant challenge this week. This week's challenge was to use buttons, and goodness knows I have plenty of those. Here is what I came up with.
Stamps: Delight in Life (SU)
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Paper: Whisper White, Basic Gray Offbeat
Accessories: Basic Gray Offbeat buttons
A Color Challenge
My bathrooms are finally finished, my husband is in the field, and the kids are doing their math. So right now, I am not going to look at the whole week and see just how busy it is, I am going to take today and tackle it. With that in mind I took a little time and did the color challenge on Splitcoaststampers. Today's challenge was to use the colors Riding Hood Red, Summer Sun, Kraft, and Basic Black. What a fun group of colors! I chose to use these little moose from two different Clear Dollar Stamps sets. The moose that is standing sideways is from the February Stamp of the Month set called Moose Wishes. While that one is no longer available, the bird and the moose looking head on is from a new March set called Moose Friends.
Stamps: Moose Wishes, Moose Friends (CD Stamps)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: Riding Hood Red DSP, Summer Sun, Basic Black, Kraft, Neenah Solar White
Accessories: Copics, circle cutters, Swirls embossing folder, black ribbon, black marker, Stampin' Dimensionals

When Life Stinks
We are in the middle of redoing some parts of both of our bathrooms. We only thought it would cost about $100, but it quickly turned into several hundred dollars in fixes after we uncovered some builder mistakes. I feel kind of bad for my husband, because this was his long weekend before going into the field for 3 weeks. He is NOT a guy who likes to do home projects, but he is willingly doing what has to be done. I love my man. Since we didn't actually plan on doing all these repairs, I am looking at my sentiment and seeing just how perfect it is ;)
I got up really early this morning to make this card, because I just REALLY wanted to get in my 'craft cave'. I made this for the Papercraft Planet Clear Dollar Stamps Weekend Color Challenge. Laurie hostessed this weekend color challenge, and she chose some wonderful colors to work with. Her colors were Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Basic Black, and White.
Stamps: Cute Critters (CD Stamps)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: Basic Black, Shimmery White, Delicate Dots DSP
Accessories: Dew Drops, black ribbon, circle cutters, Scallop edge punch,
Certainly Celery ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals, Copic markers

Party on the 15th!
This is where I want to be on the 15th. My husband heads into the field for 3 weeks on the 16th, so the 15th will be dedicated to family, but I will be checking in and out. Check out the Paper Makeup Stamps blog for all the details. There are a lot of Katie's stamps on my "want/wish" list.

Embossing with Nestabilities
A friend of mine texted me last night and asked me to explain how to emboss with Nestabilities. I texted her back and my directions were "as clear as mud", so she asked if I would make a tutorial. To some of you this may seem like a "duh" tutorial, but it was not that long ago that I didn't get it either. Yes, I'm admitting that. I kept thinking that I had to run it through my machine a certain way in order to get it to emboss, but then the lightbulb went off :)
Cut out your image with your Nestabilities the way you normally would. Don't peel it from the die, just flip it over like you see in the picture.
Using a stylus, press down next to the grooves of your die, and you'll be left with an impression.
Remove your cardstock from your die and flip it over. Taddah! You have your embossed Nestabilitie shape and you are all the wiser :)
Stamps: Spring Critters (CD Stamps)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Riding Hood Red
Paper: Rockabilly DSP, Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Neenah Solar White
Accessories: Scallop Circle Nestabilities, stylus, circle cutter, Stampin' Dimensionals,
White ribbon, Kiwi Kiss courdoroy buttons, Copics, q-tip, paper piercer

Grandma's 99th Birthday
I know this card looks a bit bigger than my normal card. It's acutally made to fit in a legal envelope. Well, it's for someone special, and I wanted a lot of room to write, as well as make my husband put in his thoughts ;) Jim's great-great grandma will be turning 99 on the 15th of this month. She is super healthy and quite amazing. I wanted to make her a special card, so I used the MojoMonday sketch challenge for this week as well.
Stamps: Butterfly Wings, Birthday Wishes (CD Stamps)
Ink: Basic Black, Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze, So Saffron
Paper: Sahara Sand, Sweet Slumber DSP
Accessories: So Saffron ribbon, Scallop edge punch, Dew Drops, 2-way glue pen,

Paper Blooms DT
I am so excited to be able to share with you all that I have been asked to join the Paper Blooms Design Team!! I actually did a happy dance when I read Leah's email :) Leah makes the most beautiful flowers that are wonderful for ANY project you may be working on. Check out her Paper Blooms Etsy Store to see all of her amazing creations. I get to join these other ladies on the Design Team:
The Paper Blooms Blog will have weekly challenges and there is a giveaway going on right now. So get on over there and check out all the goodies that are up for grabs.
A Beautiful Box
Hey everyone, I saw this box made by Rachel with a wonderful tutorial on how to make them on her blog. I was in need of another 3-d type gift for a coffee that I am helping to hostess next week, so I thought this would be a perfect idea. I stayed fairly simply with my box design and used the SAB Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up! to make the whole thing.
This box is so neat because not only does it fit the regular 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" cards, it also has a spot for 3" x 3" cards as well as some stamps.
Here are my 3" x 3" cards that I made. There are only 4, but this box could easily hold more. I didn't put any sentiments on these cards, because this way they can be used for just about anything.
My 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" cards do have sentiments on them. Again, I made all of the cards very simple. The reason for this is actually a funny story. I was at the post office last week and the postal worker (a guy) pointed out that one of the cards I was mailing was a little thicker on one side. This was why I brought it in. . .I knew I needed to find out how much it would cost to send. He proceeded to tell me that I shouldn't put embellishments on my cards because it costs more to send them because they don't fit through his machine. I simply smiled and said that that was why I brought it in to find out how much it would cost. Because this is a gift for someone else, I wanted to make sure that it would only cost a single stamp to mail these babies.Stamps: Cheep Talk, Trendy Trees (SU)
Ink: So Saffron, Sahara Sand, Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue
Paper: Sahara Sand, Whisper White, Delicate Dots DSP
Accessories: Top Note Die, Pretties kit, rub-ons, Circle Rhinestone, rubber band,
So Saffron ribbon, Certainly Celery ribbon, circle cutters, paper piercer, silver brads

A REALLY Hard Color Challenge
This weekend's Clear Dollar Weekend Color Challenge on Papercraftplanet hostessed by Shawne was extremely difficult for me, but I love a good challenge! She chose the colors Riding Hood Red, Wild Wasabi, Blush Blossom, and White. I do not have any Wild Wasabi (that I am aware of) laying around my craft cave, but she said that Garden Green would be a appropriate substitute. Here is what I came up with.
I know the flower looks a bit big on here. . .and shiny, but in person it actually looks pretty good. I made those flowers using the Pretties kit from SU, Craft ink, and embossing powder. I don't have Riding Hood Red Craft ink, so after inking the flower in the dye ink it was quickly covered in embossing powder. The other two flowers were covered with the craft ink and then covered in embossing powder.
Stamps: Charlie Daisy (CD Stamps)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Riding Hood Red,
Garden Green Craft, Blush Blossom Craft
Paper: Whisper White, Neenah Solar White, Blush Blossom, Garden Green,
Riding Hood Red DSP
Accessories: clear embossing powder, heat tool, Top Note Die, Cuttlebug, sponge, Copics,
Clear Dew Drops, Riding Hood Red ribbon

Masking
I made this card for a sketch challenge for the Digital Stamp Oasis Design Team Call. Along with a sketch, the challenge was to use Copics, which I dearly love even though I am still learning with them.
Masking is a technique that I use a lot, probably because I love to sponge the background and color my images. So I figured now was as good as any to show a tutorial on how to mask.
This stamp set is called Charlie Daisy from Clear Dollar Stamps. Stamp your image on your paper of choice and then stamp it onto a lighter weight paper. The lighter weight paper will be your actual mask. Cut out the masking image.
Once your image is cut out use a non-permanent repositionable glue on the back of the image. I used the Zig 2-way Glue Pen. You are now ready to place them over the images on your cardstock.
Once the image is covered, it is ready to be sponged. When I'm done sponging, I save the green pieces and place them with the stamp set so that they can be used again in the future.
Stamps: Charlie Daisy (CD Stamps)
Ink: Bashful Blue, Basic Grey, Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: Basic Grey, Eggplant Envy, Neenah Solar White
Accessories: sponge, 2-way glue pen, Stampin' Dimensionals, circle cutters, Kiwi Kiss buttons, Kiwi Kiss ribbon, Swirls embossing folder
Copics: W-1, W-3, W-5, W-7, G94, YG95, V15, BV17, Y38
A Truly Scrumptious Challenge
I came across this challenge site called Truly Scrumptious through Sue's blog. So far they have had sketch challenges, which I love. Not only that, but they wanted to see some homemade buttons. I just received my Moose Friends set from Clear Dollar Stamps, so I wanted to play with it.
I started off by cutting a circle with my circle cutters, and stamped the moose and moose baby ont he circle. I then masked them, and made my clouds using a punched circle and a sponge. I also sponged Kiwi Kiss at the bottom for the grass and then made blades of grass with my copic markers. Both of the moose are popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals, and the bigger moose is popped up even more to make him seem closer :D Obviously I have a good time popping things up. Now for making those buttons. I had some polyshrink sitting around that I haven't touched for ages. I pulled it out and used my circle cutters and then punched holes in them. The green button was made with Old Olive Craft ink, and the brown button was made with Close to Cocoa Craft ink. Not having any Pacific Point Craft ink, I decided to try the Dye ink. you can see how it turned out. . .not too bad. All the buttons were covered with Clear Embossing Powder before shrinking them to them that shiny look. I don't think they turned out too bad.
Stamps: Moose Friends (CD Stamps)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Old Olive Craft, Close to Cocoa Craft,
Pacific Point, Bashful Blue, Kiwi Kiss
Paper: Kiwi Kiss textured, Chocolate Chip, Good Morning Sunshine DSP, Neenah Solar White
Accessories: circle cutters, Scallop Circle Nestabilities, circle punch, PolyShrink,
clear embossing powder, Copics, Stampin' Dimensionals, sponge, slit punch

Put on Your Big Girl Panties and DEAL WITH IT!
Now that I have your attention. . .lol. If you've read my profile you know that I am a military wife. My husband seems to deploy every other year and when he's not deployed he is in the field a lot. Some day he will get a break from this, but God has not released us from this stage yet. My husband and I both know that. Now, WHAT, you may be asking, does this have to do with big girl panties?!? Well, I'll tell you :D It just seems to be my motto for when things get a little rough with the husband's being gone all the time. Us wives laugh about it and tell each other to put on our big girl panties. That is precisely why I had to have this set from Our Craft Lounge.
Stamps: Granny's Support Team (Our Craft Lounge)
Ink: Stazon Jet Black
Paper: Ballet Blue, Basic Grey, Regal Rose, Shimmery White
Accessories: Circle punches, Copics, Swirls embossing folder
Color Challenge for Yesterday
I was able to play with the color challenge for yesterday from Splitcoaststampers. It's kind of funny because I made a card a couple of days ago with almost the same colors. Obviously I like the combo :) I was also able to get my real deal sewing machine out for this one. It took a lot of clean up and some WD-40, but I do have a working sewing machine now. I'm an definitely lacking on the space to have it out all the time, but it's at least accessable. Here's my first attempt with the real one (who's bright idea was it to try going around corners?!?)
Stamps: Trendy Trees (SU)
Ink: Choclate Chip, Pixie Pink, Kiwi Kiss
Paper: Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip, Kiwi Kiss DSP, Chocolate Chip DSP,
Whisper White, Pixie Pink DSP
Accessories: sewing machine, slit punch, sponge, Chocolate Chip marker, corner rounder, Chocolate Chip courdoroy buttons

Ink: Stazon Jet Black
Paper: Summer Sun, Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red DSP, Shimmery White

I know, I know. . .I have an illness
I say that because, yes, this is the 3rd post today. Now, not every day is like this. It just so happens that my husband is in the field, and if he weren't I certainly would not be making cards. I made this card for the Our Creative Corner sketch challenge. The layout looked so fun, I had time, so I thought I would join in the fun :D
My best friend, Christi, sent me the Aloha set from Clear Dollar Stamps. I already had the Monkey Madness set, so what a great time to bring them together. Once again, I used my copics, and since I don't have many you can figure which ones I used :)
Stamps: Monkey Madness, Aloha (CD Stamps)
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, Baha Breeze
Paper: Shimmery White, Close to Cocoa, Kraft, Regal Rose
Accessories: Copics, Swirls embossing folder, scallop punch, oval cutters, slit punch, Kiwi Kiss courdoroy button, sponge, Copics, Stampin' Dimensionals, pink ribbon
The other really exciting thing that happened was that Laurie from Clear Dollar Stamps emailed me and asked if they could put some of my cards in the Honorary Mention Card Gallery on the company blog. My answer was of course, OH YEAH! I felt so honored and humbled. I felt like God affirmed me. Since a lot of my cards just get donated (yeah, I'm not good at sending them to people, go figure), I feel like whatever talent I might have is God given. I only want to use it to His glory.
Thank you, Lord, for tickling me pink today!
My Mojo Monkey
I made this card for the Mojo Monday sketch challenge #76. They hold a new challenge every Monday, and the sketches are always fantastic. Naturally I popped this little guys hands, mouth, and bow up on Stampin' Dimensionals. Those hands were a bear to cut out and pop up. I masked my monkey from Clear Dollar Stamps, and then sponged some Baja Breeze ink around the little guy.
Stamps: Monkey Surprise (CD Stamps)
Ink: Basic Black, Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red
Paper: Riding Hood Red, Sweet Slumber DSP, Baja Breeze, Whisper White
Accessories: sponge, white gel pen, Chit Chat rub-ons, Stampin' Dimensionals,
So Saffron ribbon, blender pen, Close to Cocoa, Creamy Caramel, & So Saffron markers
A Moose Thank You
Yesterday, as I said before we had a lot of snow, which is completely unusual for Columbus, GA. Because of that it has been a snow day for city of Columbus. With that in mind, I decided to let my kids have a snow day as well. It gave me a little time to make a card this morning for some friends who had my kids for part of the day yesterday. They have 4 kids of their own, so the fact that they asked if they could take my 2 kids as well made me admire them even more. They used to live in Alaska and will be moving back up there this coming summer, so I thought I would get them in the mood with a moose thank you card.
I drew the background on Shimmery White paper from Stampin' Up!, and then colored it in with Copics. Again, I am REALLY enjoying them. I then cut out the ground in Garden Green and ran it through the Cuttlebug with the Tiny Bubbles embossing folder. Of course I popped the little moose up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Stamps: Moose Wishes, Cute Critters (Clear Dollar Stamps)
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, Chocolate Chip
Paper: Sahara Sand, Shimmery White, Garden Green, Close to Cocoa
Accessories: white gel pen, Tiny Bubbles embossing folder, brass brads, Stampin' Dimensionals, Chocolate Chip marker, black marker, slit punch, sponge
Copics: E43, W-1, E77, E57, B93, B95

OMGoodness It's snowing in Georgia!!
That's right it is snowing in Columbus, Georgia!! We had a very tiny amount of snow last March for only about 20 minutes, so my kids were able to throw marble size snowballs at each other. Before that it hadn't snowed here in like 5-8 years. We have only lived here for a little over 4, so I am loving this. This is REAL snow. I felt like I was back home in Nebraska :D
This was right before Michael and I left for church. Matti had spent the night at a friend's house.
Here it is. . .obviously not done yet. The whole town is in awe. Thank you, Lord, for this amazing display of your awesomeness. In about 30 minutes I'm going to go out and make a snowman with my neighbor.
Okay, so I did make a card for this weekend's Clear Dollar Stamp color challenge that Linda is hostessing on Papercraftplant. The colors that Linda chose are Real Red, Summer Sun, Basic Black, and Whisper White. What fun colors! Because I'm so stoked to go out and make a snowman, I'm going to cut this short. Here's what I came up with.
Stamps: Spring Critters (CD stamps)
Ink: Basic Black, Summer Sun
Paper: Summer Sun, Real Red, Rockabilly DSP, Whisper White, Basic Black
Accessories: stampin' dimensionals, Real Red brads, twill ribbon, circle cutters, red colored pencil, scallop circle nesties, Swiss Dot embossing folder, copics
