Clear Dollar Stamps New Release Day!

It's release day over at Clear Dollar Stamps, and there are lots of new goodies for you feast yours eyes on!  I'm thrilled to get to show you a couple of new sets that the adorable Lisa Lara created.  The first set I have to show you is called Apple Licious. It comes with colored images as well as outlines!

The second set I'm showing off is called Bookworms, and once again comes with both colored and outlined images.  There are some cute little sentiments and 4 darling bookworms to choose from within the set.

I know you don't want to stick around here too long, because there is lots of stampy goodness to see!  Head over to the Clearly iStamp blog for more peeks and check out the DT (links in my sidebar).

Thanks for stopping in!

Retro Sketches #24 -- Life is Sweet

The Olympics are over, so we are back to watching lots of baseball in our house, haha.  Last night the Yankees were winning, so I escaped and took the time to craft.  I really like the Retro Sketches, and so I grabbed the latest one and made a card.

I've been grabbing my Papertrey Ink sets a lot lately, because, well. . .I love them.  The set used here is called The Sweet Life, and I paired it up with my August Simon Says Card Kit.  I really like their kits, because they give you just enough of a bunch of stuff to use it up and not get sick of it.

A Jar of Friendship

It's Monday, and many of my local friends have sent their kids off to school today.  We finished up our first official week last week, so we are in a pretty good routine at the moment.  Both of my babies are in junior high, and that was a hard pill to swallow for me.  Regardless, time goes on and children grow up.  I am choosing to embrace the changes and roll with the punches. . .for the moment ;)

I sat for a bit and created while the kids were writing out their history terms for the day.  The CAS challenge over at Splitcoaststampers is a sketch, so I had to jump on it.  I also played along with the Papertrey Ink challenge for Make it Monday, which was a stitch challenge.  I used the back stitch with some floss for my back panel.  It was a little time consuming, but I really like the outcome.

I'm having a bit of fun playing with some new PTI goodies.  Here are the links to the products I used:

Fall Jar Fillers

Last night I had more time to play, so I took the opportunity to play in a couple of different challenges going on.  I used a couple of Papertrey Ink sets called Friendship Jar and Friendship Jar Fall Fillers.  I watercolored, because the challenge over at the PTI blog for Make it Monday is just that. . .watercolor.  I do love the look of this technique.  I also used the new sketch from SFYTT for August.

I've really been drawn to the blue glass jars these days.  They have such a pretty look to them, and I'm really ready for Fall.  Bring on the college football, the sights and sounds of Fall, and the yummy Fall foods. . .I'm ready!

Thanks for stopping in today!

IC349 -- A Vintage Poster Inspiration

I'm striking while the iron is hot this morning!  I made another card following the Inspiration Challenge going on over at Splitcoaststampers.  I love them, because you get to pick your inspiration from an array of different options on a particular site.  The site we were to choose from today is called Vintage Poster Market, and I chose this one:

I used my Farm Fresh set from Papertrey Ink, and yes, I know you've seen that one a lot from me.  What can I say. . .I'm a country girl at heart ;)

Thanks, once again, for stopping in this morning!  I'm hoping I'll have some more craft time later.
