Hey Everyone! I hope you're having a wonderful Friday! We have plans to make snacks and watch Christmas movies tonight with the kids. It's something we look forward to every year.
Yesterday I received my first
Studio Calico Card Kit in the mail. If you've been to my blog much, y'all know I love a good card kit. This is a great one! I came with a lot of wonderful supplies. This particular kit is a bit on the pricey side once you add in the shipping, but the contents are very good. This one came with a stamp set, 4 sheets of cardstock, a 6x6 pack of designer papers, 3 kraft treat bags in a vellum pouch, a sheet of green stickers, a pack of enamel dots, a wood veneer taxi, a roll of Christmas washi tape, and some purple string.
I was inspired by the
Deconstructed Sketch #181. I used a couple of things outside of the kit, like versamark ink, Distress embossing powder, and a die from
Taylored Expressions; Label Stacklets 9 die. The think I like most about this set, is that I really have nothing like it, which was hard for my husband to believe ;)
All right, well I'm going to get moving on prepping some snacks for movie night! Y'all have a great weekend, and thanks for stopping in!
