Mixed Media Halloween Tags

 

Hello, and welcome back to my blog!  Today I had a little fun playing with some Halloween tags!  These are always a fun way to play around with supplies and try new techniques.  I especially enjoy making these and including mixed media, which is exactly what I did here.

Both tags use mostly the same tings.  I used the Wicked Hipsters stamp set and colored them both up are stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and then watercolored with Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Pencils.  My girl hipster uses the colors Spiced Marmalade and Iced Spruce Distress Spray Stains.

My second tag uses the colors Villainous Potion and Iced Spruce Distress Spray Stains. I used some tissue from the Collage Paper Archives collection, and adhered that used Collage Medium. I did stamp the Bubbles Stamp on this one as well using Jet Black Archival Ink.

Both were splattered with some Dina Wakley White Acrlyic Gloss.  Both images were propped up with some foam tape, and both of them use a sentiment from the Small Talk Snarky stickers set.  These were so much fun to create and I can't wait to make some more tags to add to my collection.
