CDS Sunday Blog Hop -- Thank You

Click HERE for my own personal blog candy.

It's that time of the month again, my friends!  It's time for the Sunday Blog Hop with Clearly Digi Stamps, and as always you will not want to miss it!  There is a $25 gift code good for digital images up for grabs, and the only way to win it is to comment ;)

You should have made your way here from Deonna's Blog.  If not, go ahead and start at the beginning which is the Clearly iStamp blog.

Our theme this month is 'Thank You', and boy do we ever have so much to be thankful for!  I took a more wintery route with mine, and used the darling digital image from Lisa called FLAKES.  I paired it up with some pretty October Afternoon papers and some matching stickers.

The next stop in the hop is sweet Linda's blog, and I'm certain she has something lovely to show you!  Don't forget to comment before you go ;)

A Couple of Splitcoaststampers Challenges

Click HERE for some blog candy.

I had a bit of fun this morning with a Taylored Expressions set called Spring Cottage.  I checked out the challenges going on over at Splitcoaststampers, and decided to play along with the Free 4 All and the Inspiration challenge.  The Free 4 All challenge was a newsprint challenge, and THIS is the inspiration I chose for today's challenge.

I saw Sankari use this set and use some cork on the roof, and I LOVED it.  I don't have a link to the exact card.  I'm in a rush, because the family wants to head out for a walk, but here are the links to the products I used:

I've always been a big fan of the kits and with the Holidays coming, that means some of us will be traveling.  One of the beauties of the kits is that it come with everything you need to get crafting.  All you add is an image, some ink, scissors, and adhesive, and you're ready to create.  I always take a kit along with me when traveling :)

For this card I used the Up A Tree set along with my kit.  I love all of the bold colors in the kit, and the beautiful patterns make it easy to create any kind of card.

I'll have more to show you throughout the month, so be sure to follow me, so you don't miss a bit.

An Exciting Announcement!

I'm so excited to announce that I am now one of the newest member of the

Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients Design Team!

I'm over the moon with elation to be able to tell you!  Not only me, but another talented artist you may recognize, Amy Crockett!  We were both finalists in the Taylored Expressions Last Card Standing, and I am so thrilled to be working alongside her and the rest of the KI DT.

I've been busy creating with this month's wonderful kit, so I thought I'd start off by showing you a little something made using not only the November kit, but also the set New Beginnings from Taylored Expressions.

Check that darling little wooden bingo chip!  They come natural, but I colored mine with Copics to match.

And here is what the whole kit looks like:

As many of you know, if you follow me, I'm a long time fan of the Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients Kits.  They come full of goodies to create at least 16 cards, but I always tend to get more than that out of these amazing kits.  Aside from the obvious amazingly coordinated items all packed into one glorious kit, here is one of my absolute favorite reasons to become a TE KI Kit Subsriber:

- Subscribers will receive 10% off everything at the TE Store during our monthly discount period (10th through the 13th of each month) along with FREE SHIPPING on additional orders placed during this time. You'll receive a coupon code in our monthly Key Ingredients newsletter.

SCS Color Challenge

Just a couple more days, and I can share some good news!  Until then, I have this card that I made a couple of days ago for the Splitcoaststampers 400th Color Challenge!  That is quite amazing if you ask me.  I do love Splitcoast, because it is such a wonderful place to find inspiration and meet new and crafty friends.

I made this card using the Anniversary Pretty Peonies set from Papertrey Ink.  I love the matching die for the set as well.  Since it was the 400th color challenge, we had a few choices for what colors we wanted to use.  I chose the SU Island Indigo, SU Lucky Limeade, and SU Basic Gray.

Election Day!

Voting is a privilege.  If you don't vote, you don't have a right to complain.  I'm sure you seen that a time or two today.  I believe so strongly in it, that I don't understand why someone wouldn't vote.  People have died for that privilege, so I will always honor it.

This is a quick card that I may or may not send to my sister tomorrow, depending on the outcome of the election.  I used some Basic Grey Picadilly papers along with those adorable Tall & Skinny Alpha Dies from Taylored Expressions.

If you're an American, celebrate it, and be thankful.  Get out and vote.

Happy Monday!

Try as I might to get all of the Hope You Can Cling To challenges done over at Splitcoaststampers, I ran out of time.  A couple of exciting things happened that I will share later when I can, so my time quickly became limited.

This card right here is probably my last card for HYCCT to.  I need to get them all in the mail ASAP, because time really did get away from me.  I made this card using the 'Kissing Technique' for the 'HI' stamp. I really do love the way that it turned out :)

This next card was made purely for fun with my November SS Card Kit, just like the one above.

I hope you'll come back in the next couple of days to hear my good news ;)
