A REALLY Hard Color Challenge

This weekend's Clear Dollar Weekend Color Challenge on Papercraftplanet hostessed by Shawne was extremely difficult for me, but I love a good challenge!  She chose the colors Riding Hood Red, Wild Wasabi, Blush Blossom, and White.  I do not have any Wild Wasabi (that I am aware of) laying around my craft cave, but she said that Garden Green would be a appropriate substitute.  Here is what I came up with.
I know the flower looks a bit big on here. . .and shiny, but in person it actually looks pretty good.  I made those flowers using the Pretties kit from SU, Craft ink, and embossing powder.  I don't have Riding Hood Red Craft ink, so after inking the flower in the dye ink it was quickly covered in embossing powder.  The other two flowers were covered with the craft ink and then covered in embossing powder.
Stamps:  Charlie Daisy (CD Stamps)
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black, Riding Hood Red,
Garden Green Craft, Blush Blossom Craft
Paper:  Whisper White, Neenah Solar White, Blush Blossom, Garden Green,
Riding Hood Red DSP
Accessories:  clear embossing powder, heat tool, Top Note Die, Cuttlebug, sponge, Copics,
Clear Dew Drops, Riding Hood Red ribbon

  4. You are so right.. this was a hard challenge. I had a really hard time with it, and when I was all done, I hated it and it went in the recycle bin. Sad, but true.
I love your flowers and your cute horse. You are making me like charlene horse. You are such an enabler ... I really need a cassie stamp camp.

  5. What a cute card! Charlie always looks so darling in white, I think. Lovely big flower too, like how you coated them.
