Clearly Inspired Challenge #71 -- Anything Goes

I can't believe that it's Friday, and that this is it until after the summer for the Clearly Inspired Challenges.  They want to go out with a bang, so the challenge is Anything Goes.  That is easy enough, right?!  I used the featured digital image called Little Octopus from Clearly Digital Stamps for my card.

The 'water' was made with a clear envelope that housed a stamp set.  I just cut it apart and used a mostly dried out (booo) blue Stazon ink pad to make the marks on it.

Ink:  Blue Stazon
Paper:  Neenah Solar White, Lawn Fawn dp
Accessories:  Copics, Lawn Fawn stickers, oval punch, acetate sheet

Black & White with a Pop of Color

Happy Friday, friends!  It is crazy rainy here today, but I won't complain. . .all of my family and friends back in Nebraska have been hit by a small blizzard.  A little rain is workable ;)

I have a new card to share for the Clearly Inspired Challenge #69.  The challenge over at Clearly iStamp is to use mostly black and white with a pop of color.  I'm in love with washi tape, so I used a couple of rolls and the sentiment from the digital set called SPLAT.

Stamps:  Splat
Paper:  PTI Rustic White, black
Accessories:  washi tape, MS leaf punch, window punch, Flamingo Pearl Pen, corner chomper

Go check out the challenge and play along!  You may end up winning :D

CIC68 -- Let's Get Inky

It's a new month and it's Friday, which means that there is a new challenge over at Clearly iStamp!  The challenge is to get inky, which means to use ink in a nifty way.  I chose to use a reinker on watercolor paper and blow it using a straw.  I really like the background effect it gives, and you could really go nuts with colors.  My sentiment comes from a new digital set that Lisa designed for CDS called Splats.  Head on over to the Clearly iStamp blog for more details and to see what the other designers came up with!

Brown & Red CIC #67

I'm so happy it's Friday, because this has been one busy week.  Are you as ready for the weekend as I am? Is crafting on your 'to do' list?  If so, put this one down as one to be sure and do.  Over at Clearly iStamp the new Clearly Inspired Challenge is a color challenge.

Brown & Red

That is easy enough, so no excuses ;)  I used the featured digital image called MR. SPIKE.  He's just adorable.  I've already used him to make some Georgia Bulldogs cards for a friend.  Since I'm a Nebraska Husker fan that was hard to do, but that dog is pretty cute.

I did a little dry embossing and also rubbed the ink directly onto the paper on the separate panels.  Since it's a 'ruff day' card, I thought some washi tape to attach the panels would be a good touch.  Tape can fix stuff right? ;)

We are off to Science Lab, but thanks for stopping in today!

Stamps:  Mr. Spike digital image
Ink:  CDS Cherry Go Round, Memento Espresso Truffle
Paper:  kraft, CDS Cherry Go Round, CDS Mud Pie, Neenah Solar White
Accessories:  red heart brad, washi tape, Labels Nesties, Heart Block embossing folder

Puppy Love

They want to see your love inspired projects that feature critters. . .easy peasy!  I used the adorable new digital image from Clearly Digital Stamps called MR. SPIKE.  Isn't he cute?!  Come play along, because we would love to see what you create!

Thanks for stopping in today.  It's my last real day of vacation, but I've been working on all sorts of projects for upcoming releases.  Once we are back to normalcy, I'll have some 'just for fun' cards to show I'm sure.  Have a great weekend :D

Clearly Inspired Challenge #63 -- Critters

Friday, oh Friday, how I always long for thee!  This Friday brings us a new Clearly Inspired Challenge sponsored by Clearly Digi Stamps (Clear Dollar Stamps).  Our challenge this time was Critters, and the lovely Lisa Lara designed this darling set called MEOWS as the featured digi set.

I made my little kitty to look like my kitty, Niki.  He's a Siamese, and although I don't consider myself a cat person, I am definitely a Nik person.

I used some of my papers from my recent Simon Says Card Kit, and some stickers and washi tape from a different kit :) Come on over to Clearly iStamp to check out the challenge and play along.  The more that play, the more that win!

CIC60 & SFYTT

It's Clearly Inspired Challenge time!  I'm so happy that I was able to sit in my craft room for a bit and actually create something.  This last month has been depressing on the crafting front, but there is light at the end of the tunnel, and that excites me!

The new challenge over at Clearly iStamp is called Fall into Fall.  They want to see some Fall themed cards, which should be super easy since most of us are in the mood for Fall.  I used the September featured digi that Lisa created called Piles of Fun.  It's so cute!  I also decided to use the sketch from SFYTT for September.

So there you go, two birds. . .one stone :)

I hope that I inspired you to get crafty today, and thanks for stopping by.  Here are the links to a few of the products I used:

Clearly Inspired Challenge #59

I know that I've been a way a bit, but I will be back.  I just need to get this kidney stuff figured out, and I'm sure I'll be back in full swing in just a couple of weeks.  The medications they have me on have me out of sorts, but thankfully the hubs has some leave right now so he's been a very big help.  I have a scheduled surgery next Monday, and then just one more to have the stent removed. . .good as new I'm sure of it :D

You didn't come over to hear all of that, so let's get to the card, shall we?!  This is for the newest  challenge over at Clearly iStamp, which is LEAVES!  It's Fall, right. . .or at least it's supposed to be soon.  Lisa came up with this darling new digi for us to use as the September Featured Digi called Piles of Fun, and I just couldn't resist.  So cute, right?!

Head on over and check out the challenge.  Plus, if you played last month you'll want to see if you were a winner. . .there were lots ;)
