Happy Birthday to my Baby Girl!

Today is my baby girl, Mattingly's 8th birthday! Of course a special day calls for a special birthday card. She loves fluffles, and we have a siamese cat so I thought I would use this Fluffles image. Every time we go into a Michael's store, Matti always searches out the Fluffles stamps and tries to get me to purchase them for her. That's my girl!
Stamps: Fluffles Frame, sentiment from Monkey Surprise (CD Stamps)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: Sweet Berry K&C Company dp, Pumpkin Pie, Neenah Solar White, Real Red textured
Accessories: Copics, circle cutter, apple green ribbon, corner rounder

Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to come back tomorrow. It will be my blogiversary and I may have something special to celebrate ;D

A Couple New Fluffles Stamps

Remember how I told you that my neighbor came over an bought 14 of my cards the other day?  Well, with the money she gave me I 'invested' in more stamps, lol.  I say invested, because who knows, maybe she'll come over and want to buy more cards (fingers crossed).  The stamps I bought were some new "Fluffles" stamps, and they are so completely cute.  I love that cat!   Here are my first two creations thus far.

I popped both of the Fluffles images up on Stampin' Dimensionals.  I love this image because you can add almost any sentiment you want  that will fit in his little box.  I am far from done with this little guy.

This last card is a card my 8 year old son made.  It was his design and his color choices.  I didn't help him at all.  Here is what he came up with, and I am VERY proud of him.

Wednesday's Sketch Challenge

Accessories:  Labels Nestabilities, Real Red, Garden Green, Almost Amethyst, & Appricot Appeal markers, Riding Hood Red ribbon, Swirls embossing folder, paper piercer,
Greatest Moments rub-ons

I think I may be in love with this Label Nestabilities set.  I can't stop using it. . .lol!  Here is my take on today's Splitcoaststampers sketch challenge.  Along with a sketch I wanted to challenge myself to think outside of my normal colors.  I think I really did that by using this combination.  I really like how it turned out!

On a side note, my neighbor came over the other day and bought 14 of my cards, which included all of my cat themed cards.  I was thrilled that she wanted them and felt very honored that she wanted to purchase them.  This is an attempt to replenish my stock of cat themed cards.  I have a few more "Fluffles" stamps coming in the mail, and I can't wait!

A little bit of "Catch Up"

I'm sure that all will give me a "hrumph" when I say that December was an incredibly crazy month. I made things throughout the month, but did not have even 10 minutes to post any of it. I have found (as crazy as it sounds) that with my husband home, I have less time. This is probably due to the fact that I know he will be gone next Christmas, so every spare moment is spent with him and the kids. We did have an amazing Christmas, and we did nothing. It was wonderful. . .we just spent time together. We made memories of playing Wii family games, having light-saber wars, Blokus challenges, and lots of just hanging out together. With that being said, it is now back to the grind. School has started back up, work has commenced for my husband, and I get to craft again.
These are in no particular order, I am just simply catching up on posts.
