TE Last Card Standing Top 15!

I can't believe that I made the Top 15!  I am so honored and humbled to be among such talent!  HERE is the link to the other 14, and HERE is the link to my card that got me here :)

So our next challenge was one of friendship.  We were to design a card for our best friend.  I technically call 3 people my best friends. . .how blessed am I to have 3?!

My husband is amazing.  He gets me in every way, and he is my biggest fan.  We have the same sense of humor, and I'm more in love with him now than I was when I first met him.

My sister is the one who gets the family craziness, because we obviously share the same family, haha.  If not for her, getting through some of the yuck would have been unbearable.  If I'm having a rough day, she can make me laugh like no tomorrow, and I can do the same for her.  I love her so much.

Christi, is my non related bestie.  Our husbands have deployed together a couple of times, and we had each other to rely on.  We both love our Lord, our family, and each other.  We have helped each other through some pretty rough times, and even though we don't live by each other anymore, we still chat as often as we can.

So this card is for them.  I used one of my first every Taylored Expressions sets for this card, Branching Out.  I popped up the leaves with some foam tape, and added the little heart button for balance.

Thank you so much for stopping in!  If I don't make it onto the next round, know that I am happy and humbled to have come this far.

CIC60 & SFYTT

It's Clearly Inspired Challenge time!  I'm so happy that I was able to sit in my craft room for a bit and actually create something.  This last month has been depressing on the crafting front, but there is light at the end of the tunnel, and that excites me!

The new challenge over at Clearly iStamp is called Fall into Fall.  They want to see some Fall themed cards, which should be super easy since most of us are in the mood for Fall.  I used the September featured digi that Lisa created called Piles of Fun.  It's so cute!  I also decided to use the sketch from SFYTT for September.

So there you go, two birds. . .one stone :)

I hope that I inspired you to get crafty today, and thanks for stopping by.  Here are the links to a few of the products I used:

TE Last Card Standing

Have you heard about the TE Last Card Standing competition?  If you have, you know that today is the final day to enter.  Even though I have been so sick over the last 2 months, I had to throw my hat in the ring.  There is light at the end of this kidney stone tunnel. . .I get the nasty stent taken out on Tuesday.  I anticipate that I'll be in tip top condition a few days after that (fingers crossed and throwing up lots of prayers).

Since the first challenge is basically an 'anything goes' I grabbed some of the goodies that were close at hand and started stamping.  Goodness, how I've missed it.  I used my Fruity Friends set from Taylored Expressions along with some Basic Grey Sweet Threads paper from a previous TE Key Ingredients Kit, and some Washi tape that I bought at Target.

It's fairy simple, but I wanted to get something in, because ya'll know that I'm a big TE fan.  Thanks for stopping in.  I'm going to go lay down and do a bit more crocheting (the only good thing to come from all of this bed rest).

CDS Sunday Blog Hop -- ABC or 123

Hey there, crafty friends!  Welcome to the Clear Dollar Stamps Sunday Blog Hop!  You should have started over at Clearly iStamp, and then made your way here so that you don't miss a minute of all of the crafty goodness :)

This month's theme was "ABC or 123".  This was certainly a challenge for me, I'll tell ya, but I finally settled on the '123' theme.  I used 1 button, 2 layers, and 3 pumpkins.  Whew, maybe a stretch, but I'm going with it ;)  The image is from the newly released set called Punkins by our darling Lisa.

I don't know about your, but I'm ready for Fall, although the weather around here isn't really cooperating with me ;)

Be sure to leave a comment to be eligible for the $25 gift code that Clear Dollar Stamps is giving away to one lucky hopper just for hopping with us.  Now head on over to Lisa's lovely blog to continue on and see what she has for us to feast our eyes upon!

Clear Dollar Stamps New Release

It's release day for Clear Dollar Stamps, and I'm excited to show off a couple of new sets!  Both of the sets that I'm showing were designed by the amazing Lisa Lara, and both definitely put me in the mood for some colder weather and some hot cocoa ;)

This first set is called Punkins, and it comes with lots of great images and sentiments.

My next card was made with a set called Ornament Sentiments. . . Eeeeee!  Don't you just love it!  I could really crank out some cute holiday cards with this set :D

You are not going to want to miss all of the wonderful samples made by the rest of the design team, so be sure to check them all out.  Plus head to Clearly iStamp for full coverage!  Thanks for stopping by!

Clearly Inspired Challenge #59

I know that I've been a way a bit, but I will be back.  I just need to get this kidney stuff figured out, and I'm sure I'll be back in full swing in just a couple of weeks.  The medications they have me on have me out of sorts, but thankfully the hubs has some leave right now so he's been a very big help.  I have a scheduled surgery next Monday, and then just one more to have the stent removed. . .good as new I'm sure of it :D

You didn't come over to hear all of that, so let's get to the card, shall we?!  This is for the newest  challenge over at Clearly iStamp, which is LEAVES!  It's Fall, right. . .or at least it's supposed to be soon.  Lisa came up with this darling new digi for us to use as the September Featured Digi called Piles of Fun, and I just couldn't resist.  So cute, right?!

Head on over and check out the challenge.  Plus, if you played last month you'll want to see if you were a winner. . .there were lots ;)
