Baby Madness

It seems as though everyone around me is getting pregnant! It's very exciting!  I'm done having kids, so it's great to be surrounded by babies again.  I made this for a friend whom I recently got a note from telling us they are pregnant.  Our husbands were deployed together last year and worked very closely, so naturally she and I have a special connection.  As per military, they moved away.  It touched my heart to receive her note, and it makes me miss them so much.

My Favorite Things has this awesome set called Clearly Sentimental About Babies.  It's perfect for making cards for expectant mothers.  I paired it up with some BG Hopscotch paper that my BFF, Christi, sent me.  I made this card for the MFT Sketch Challenge, and the For Fun Challenge of using 'hearts'.

Ink:  Memento Rich Cocoa, Vintage Photo Distress Ink
Paper:  Cottonball White (CDS), BG Hopscotch
Accessories:  Copics & airbrushing, brown buttons, chipboard hearts, Labels 4 Nestabilities, sponge, brown mini brads (CDS), Brown Sparkly Fluff (TE)

I'm hoping to have some good quality 'craft cave' time, but we'll see what the day brings :D
