December Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients Kit

It's time for the new December Key Ingredients Kit to be released over at Taylored Expressions!  It comes with a whole pack of 6 x 6 paper from We R Memory Winter Frost, 12 sheets of cardstock, 5 yards of ribbon, some beautiful rhinestones, and a whole tube of liquid pearls.  You'll get at least 10 cards out of your kit, but I always seem to get a LOT more than that.

I made this card using some of the papers in the 6 x 6 pad along with the Winter Wonderland set from Taylored Expressions and the TE Winter Wonderland Die.

Here's a closer look.

There are some amazing benefits to being a subscriber to the kit.  Here is one of my favorite benefits:

- Subscribers will receive 10% off everything at the TE Store during our monthly discount period (10th through the 13th of each month) along with FREE SHIPPING on additional orders placed during this time. You'll receive a coupon code in our monthly Key Ingredients newsletter.

All of the details of becoming a subscriber can be found HERE.  You can find a ton more inspiration by checking out the  Key Ingredients Subscription Gallery, full of sample projects from the Design Team:  Amy Crockett, Cassie Trusk,  Debbie Carriere, Tracy Clemente... and Taylor VanBruggen.

Sweet Sketch

It's been a busy one today!  We went to a live performance of Annie this morning, and then headed to the University Science Lab right after that.  There is lunch and then basketball coming up shortly. . .whew!  I have approximately 10 minutes before we have to jet out the door for the next event, so here goes.

I had some down time last night, so I inked up my Tiddly Inks Friends are Flowers set.  She is just adorable!  I know that she isn't traditionally a Christmas set, but I thought I could make it work anyway.  I paper pieced her little dress with a Christmas pattern. . .that counts, right?  I haven't been able to get my printer and computer to work together for the last few days, so no digis as of now.  I certainly don't mind getting inky though ;)

I used the Sweet Sketch Wednesday sketch to put this one together, and my links to products are down below.  It's quite an eclectic array of things.  Okay, I better get scooting!  Have a super fun crafty day!

MFT Weekly Sketch

I haven't had a chance to play along in the MFT Weekly Sketch Challenge that goes on over at Splitcoaststampers, but I made some time today.  It's like 80 degrees out, but I was really wanting to make something with my Tweeny Teen Frosty Friends from the Pure Innocence collection.

It's a great sketch, right?!  I used an older TE KI Kit from like over a year ago.  There is always so much stuff in there, that I'm overjoyed when I can use it all up, hehe.  I believe that this collection is the Wintertime collection from Echo Park.

I'm hoping to have more time to color today, because brace yourself. . .I have NO WHERE to go today!  I love days like this!  Tomorrow is a crazy one, but that's okay since we have today to rest.  We're going to see Annie tomorrow, and then my kids have their big test in the Science Lab they take at the local University.

Thanks for stopping in!

Happy Birthday, Christi!

It's my friend Christi's birthday today!  She hasn't blogged in a while, because she has had some amazing and wonderful changes in her life.  We live far apart now, but back in the day we would craft together while our husbands were deployed.  Now her's is deployed and we don't even live within a days drive of each other.  I miss her, so I made her a card and sent it out last week (I think) to remind her that I was thinking of her.  I had already sent her birthday present like a month ago.

This is Moka Wanda from Taylored Expressions.  Yes, I used my November TE Key Ingredients Kit as well, because those kits are just filled with crafty goodness.  In just a few short days I'll have December's kit to show off, hehe.  Be sure to come back then!

The Last SFYTT

It has been a few days, but believe me I've been creating!  I made about 15 Christmas Cards with a card kit I had, and maybe I'll get a minute to take some pics ;)  This morning after some instruction with the kids, I had a chance to play along in the Lawnscaping color challenge, and in the final Sketch for You To Try.

Here is the sketch for December:

I used the Winter Owl set from Lawn Fawn along with the challenge colors of Red, Kraft, and Turquoise.  As per the request of Amy over at SFYTT here are my previous months cards:
