It's time for another Clearly Inspired Challenge over at Clearly iStamp! This time the challenge is:
Some Like it Hot
That could be interpreted so many ways: you can use images for hot weather, colors on the warm side of the color wheel: yellow, orange, red, or maybe even spicy foods, etc
I chose to use the warm color of red along with the July featured digital image called Scoops. Scoops was just too perfect not to use for this challenge, because nothing cools you down better on a hot day than some delicious ice cream ;)
I even added a bit of dimensional pearls for some hot fudge!
Images: Scoops
Paper: CDS Cherry Red, buttercream
Copics: E41, E42
Accessories: Scor-Pal, foam tape, red button, Espresso Dimensional Pearls
Be sure to check out the challenge over at Clearly iStamp, and play along for a chance to win!

ReplyDeleteLet me tell you everything I love about your card...1) super cute enhancement of the image...that hot fudge! And the button...too cute. 2) love how you wrapped the sentiment around to frame the image...very clever. 3) Love the simple dry embossed lines to accent the image too. 4) Love the color combo...the red is brilliant...in all ways. So....love, love, love your card! And if I haven't mentioned it before, I love your blog design. Stinkin' cute retro!
