I hate needing these cards. . .

Sadly, this has been a rough week for needing sympathy cards. I never seem to have them on hand, because as soon as I make them. . .I need them. Ugh! I made this first one for 3 different challenges. . .that's exciting, right?! The colors were from the Color Dare, for which my BFF Christi is now on the DT, YAY! The sketch is from Truly Scrumptious, and I used some bling for the Paper Blooms Challenge.
Stamps: Christian Sympathy (Clear Dollar Stamps)
Ink: Rich Razzleberry
Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Pale Plum, Very Vanilla, Razzleberry Lemonade
Accessories: Labels 4 Nestabilities, sponge, Swiss Dots embossing folder, handmade blooms from Paper Blooms, buttons, half-back Bling it pearls

This next card was made for the parents of one of my husband's soldiers who passed away this last weekend. I can only imagine what they are going through. It wasn't made with any challenges in mind. . .it's a 'just because' kind of card. I'm really enjoying using the August 20th Key Ingredients kit to make so many cards, which is what I used on this. I love the richness of the colors in the kit.
Stamps: Christian Sympathy (Clear Dollar Stamps)
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose, Versamark
Paper: August 20th Key Ingredients kit
Accessories: Labels 4 Nestabilities, Scallop Edge punch, dew drops, chipboard, clear embossing powder, heat tool, dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you are having a very blessed week!

  1. These are both lovely Cassie and they definitely are the hardest kind of cards to make.

  10. Cassie, I too hate to make them when I need them so I always have a couple on hand and sometimes it happens right after I am through with them. Yours are beautiful and I am sure they will be comforting to the people when they receive them especially with yor prayers along with them. Pam
